I have recently been appointed as non-executive practice manager to a medium-sized professional practice which is in need of improved financial management. While the scope of the work is still evolving I have initially worked to stabilise cash flow and produce a cash management and forecasting system.
The next stage is to develop a reliable management accounting process which generates monthly accounts on a timely basis. Thereafter forecasting and work on addressing the firm’s lock-up will be addressed.
