Job Retention Scheme to be Extended until September

An extension to the Job Retention Scheme is expected to be announced tomorrow.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting this morning that the Job Retention Scheme will be extended until September. Chancellor Rishi Sunak is expected to confirm this tomorrow alongside a number of other new measures.

The extension to the Scheme will run at 60% as opposed to the current 80%. The much-rumoured adaptation of the scheme to allow for part-time working through a top-up facility is also expected to be announced.
